RECEPTIONISTS

It is essential that you are  willing to work weekend and evening  shifts.

Work involves answering phones and inputting data into a computer. Training will be given but a good telephone manner is essential and basic computer skills would be a great help.

£6.20 per hour starting rate.

Working with Data

Whilst the new (and usually younger!) Drivers adapt straight away, older Drivers are sometimes naturally apprehensive at the changeover from voice to data. However it is incredibly easy to use in fact as it is linked to your meter it is hardly necessary to touch it.Ask any HALTON TAXIS Driver how easy it is to use!

When you are offered a job you press any button. The address stays on the screen so you can't forget it.When you pick up and put your meter on as you normally do, the meter operates the data without you doing anything! When you stop the meter it again plots you on the area you have dropped off at, and if there is work available you are offered another job instantly.It could not be easier.This is only possible because we have GPS satellite navigation fitted in every vehicle.

No Cheating!

You always get your fare share of work because it is impossible for Drivers or Staff to cheat or "long bonnet". The Computer gives the jobs out automatically-no persons or personalities are involved. If you are currently in the Trade you know all

about these pitfalls. WE DONT HAVE THEM ANYMORE!

In July 2007 our premises were totally revamped to ensure better working facilities for the Staff and Drivers, improved security and full disabled facilities.

In September2007 we upgraded all Data heads to the latest available which have full colour mapping for all Drivers. If you are new this will guide you from your position to the pick up and on to the destination -no worries!

On the Office side of things E Booking has become available to all Account Customers and Regulars which is fully integrated with the Dispatch system.

Customers can book, alter or cancel their bookings from their own computer. (Email your name, address and phone number and we will send you a password).

Auto Booking- With  our new Voice Recognition System Customers can choose to instantly book a Taxi without speaking to anyone! (Of course its your choice, you can still speak to the Receptionist if you wish to!)
